Donthirean Exit Company

How the program works

Donthirean Exit Company is a self-directed education program for timeshare owners. There is no account to create before you talk to us, and no payment before you decide. Here is what the process looks like from the first call onward.

1. Start with a phone call

Call (877) 403-6684. The call is where we hear about your situation, explain what the program is and is not, and answer questions. Se habla español. Nothing is signed or charged on the call. If the program is not a fit for you, we will say so.

2. A secure invite, then your own password

If you decide to go ahead, we create your account from the details collected on the call and email you a single-use, expiring invite link. You set your own password; nobody on our side ever sees it. You then accept the Terms of Service and pay a one-time fee through Stripe's hosted checkout, so we never handle your card number.

3. Work the program at your own pace

The program is organized into phases, and each phase is a short series of steps. For every step you get a written guide and any templates you need. You do the step, record what you did, and move on. You control the pace: you can start the day you sign up and move as quickly or as slowly as you like.

4. Build a dated, documented record

Every time you send something, you save a copy in your dashboard: the document, the date you mailed it, and the certified-mail tracking number. Over the course of the program this becomes an organized record of everything you have done. That record is the point. Keep it complete and keep it accurate.

5. Waiting periods and reminders

Some steps involve mailing something and then waiting, sometimes 30 or 60 days, before the next step opens. That waiting is part of the process, not lost time, and you do not need to track it. When a waiting period ends, we email you and the next step is ready. Resorts reply in different ways and on different timelines; a reply is a normal part of the process.

What the program does not do

  • We are not attorneys, and nothing in the program is legal advice.
  • We do not contact your resort, negotiate for you, or act for you. Every letter is written, signed, and mailed by you.
  • We do not promise any outcome. Whether a resort accepts a request, releases an owner, or replies at all is the resort's decision, and we cannot tell you what will happen with yours.
  • Leaving a timeshare is not always free. Many resorts charge a fee to take a timeshare back, and anything you owe your resort is separate from what you pay us.
